DESCRIPTION:At the recent spouses meeting\, Mr. Carson\, a volunteer at the Pilgrim Christian Church Food Pantry\, spoke about the efforts of volunteers to provide healthy and nutritious meals to those in need in Geauga County. Mr. Carson emphasized the growing need for donations. The Chardon Kiwanis Club will be collecting donations during the July 18 Concert in the Park on Chardon Square from 7 to 9 p.m. Donations can be brought to the Log Cabin and may include non-perishable food items\, toiletries\, and cash. \n“The goal of Kiwanis is to change the world\, one child and community at a time\,” says Baron Miller project leader for the Chardon Kiwanis Club. “Helping to collect food for those in need in our county goes directly towards that mission.” \nThose coming out to enjoy a wonderful performance by Abbey Rodeo\, or those looking to lend a helping hand to those in need\, are encouraged to stop on by to make a donation.
