SUMMARY:Audubon to see what’s new at LaDue
DESCRIPTION:Blackbrook Audubon Society will visit LaDue Reservoir\, the largest body of water in Geauga County\, to look for swans\, ducks and grebes. Birders of all skill levels should meet in the parking lot of the boathouse at 17759 Valley Road in Auburn Twp. at 9:00 a.m.\, Saturday\, November 20. The group will bird the edge of the reservoir along Valley Road. Blackbrook also plans to check the bridges over LaDue on Rt. 44\, which has a large parking area\, and Auburn Road\, which has limited parking. \nAs participants travel on State Rt. 44 toward 422\, E. Washington St. comes off Rt. 44 and leads to the boathouse to the east. LaDue Reservoir is one unit within the Cuyahoga River – Upper Important Bird Area. \nBlackbrook Audubon covers Ashtabula\, Geauga and Lake Counties as the local chapter of National Audubon Society.
