Literary Cleveland’s annual fundraiser, A Lit Summer Night, is the most fun you can have for a good cause.
Join with friends and fellow lovers of literature at the magnificent Harcourt Manor on June 1st and you can help make possible a year’s worth of literary programming right here in Cleveland.
Your attendance helps support:
- Classes and workshops for thousands of local writers
- Readings and events designed to showcase local talent and enrich the community
- Cleveland Inkubator, one of the largest free annual writing conferences in the country
- Cleveland Stories, a place-based writing program for residents of the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood
- Gordon Square Review, an online literary journal committed to publishing emerging writers from NE Ohio and around the world
- Countless other programs that support local poets, novelists, essayists, short story writers, memoirists, journalists, playwrights, songwriters and more
So join us for food and drink. Mingle with local writers and editors. Explore the beautiful Harcourt Manor. Enjoy performances by Cleveland Heights Poet Laureate Damien McClendon, comedienne Molly Brenner, and poets Ray McNiece and Melissa Warren.
And know that all the fun you’re having helps nurture a more vibrant literary arts community in Northeast Ohio.
