Bisquick Cookies
Bisquick made our chocolate chip cookie baking a whole lot easier when this recipe was first introduced over 30 years ago. Our mom always made these for Christmas, along with her many other Christmas cookies. Mom would double, sometimes even triple this recipe. Half of the dough would get chocolate chips, the other half M & M’s or white chocolate morsels. Thanks to Nestle, today you can purchase nine different types of morsels including red and green chocolate morsels, pink and white chocolate morsels, butterscotch, peanut butter, and my favorite – their chocolate chunk morsels.
Mom always made Christmas special with her decorations and Christmas cookies, and this is one of her recipes that I continue to use over and over again during the year. This recipe has become my favorite quick, go to chocolate chip cookie recipe. I know your family will love it as much as mine does. Trust me when I say you can’t make enough of these delicious cookies, for any occasion.

A Quick Decorating Tip:
A hollowed – out round loaf of bread is terrific for holding dinner rolls or salads. Share it as a Christmas treat for the birds, if there are any leftovers.
Fruit Butter
Looking for something special to serve alongside your dinner rolls? Combine ½ cup of softened butter with one cup of powdered sugar and 1 to 2 cups of sliced berries or fruit. Place into a food processor and process until smooth. Refrigerate and use within one week.
