What better way for your children to start the year than to have them delve into the world of art through Clay Creations while learning a bit about ancient cultures! Take pART and Geauga Lyric Theater Guild have a Clay Creations class starting January 8 at the Arts Center in Chardon. Children will learn clay hand-building and glazing techniques to create their own unique animal coin bank, cup & bowl, keepsake box, and lantern candle holder in the six week class. They will also learn about a variety of cultures that have used clay to create functional or symbolic objects, including Ohio’s own Native Americans. Check it out and sign up here.
