Chardon Kiwanis Club Starts a New Year

At its annual induction meeting of the Chardon Area Kiwanis, a new year started with the election of new officers for the 2013-2014 year. Serving as president of the club is Jefferey Campbell Jr.; serving as president-elect is Mary Bramstedt; serving as secretary is Bob Yates; serving as treasurer is David Browne. At the meeting, Frank Elliott, Norma Moses, Butch Penrod, and Jefferey Campbell Sr., where also chosen as trustees.

The club is also happy to announce a very successful start to the new year with its highly successful Annual Trivia Night. Starting in March, the club will again be selling maple products on the Chardon Square. All monies raised through the club’s various fundraisers help to support the scholarships and programs offered by the club in the Chardon area.

“Please come out this spring to buy maple products so we can continue to raise monies to help the Chardon area,” said President Jefferey Campbell, Jr. “Who doesn’t want to help kids in our community by buying a few sweet treats.”
