The Husky girls basketball team defeated arch-rival Berkshire on January 8 for the first time since 2001.
Cardinal beat arch-rival Berkshire 48-38 in front of an energetic home crowd. Berkshire tied the game at 25 in the 3rd quarter, but clutch back to back 3-pointers from Brooke Hauser and Jess Koches put the Huskies ahead for good and sent the Badgers home with a loss.
Cheyenne Polverine had 11 points and played great defense in the 2nd half on Berkshire’s best player. Brooke Hauser led in scoring with 13 points, Haley Adams added 12 and Jess Koches added 9.
