Congratulations to the Cardinal High School students of the month for December 2013: Erin R, Kayli S, Courtney E, and Morgan S, and to the January 2014 students of the month: Megan T, Michele M, Cody P, and Dakota W.

Each month, teachers nominate one student from each grade level to be student of the month based on several pieces of criteria. All nominations are then considered and are taken to a vote. Students of the month show outstanding academic performance or great improvement in their academic performance, their participation in class enhances the learning environment, they display signs of leadership and citizenship, are involved in extracurricular activities and/or community service, and they exhibit exemplary behavior both in and out of school. As a reward for their outstanding performance at Cardinal High School, students of the month are treated to a luncheon at Pizza Hut where they celebrate earning such a high honor and at the end of the school year they will receive a certificate of recognition at the annual awards ceremony.
