The Chardon Kiwanis would like to announce that we are still selling maple syrup, maple barbeque sauce and mustard, maple candy, maple spread, maple sugar, and various other sweets in the Log Cabin on the Square. All profits from the sale will go to support the scholarships Kiwanis awards each year to graduating Chardon High School seniors and to support the various other projects that it sponsors each year to improve the Chardon community.
The Log Cabin will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday, excluding Easter, until the Maple Festival and open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the Maple Festival. Those who stop by can expect to find all the sweet maple products they have become accustomed to enjoy each spring in Geauga County.
“So far maple syrup sales have been going strong,” said Mary Bramstedt, Chairperson of Maple Sales for 2014. “There is still time to purchase these sweet treats while helping out your community.”
Please come out and help us by purchasing our maple products in the coming weekends or during the Maple Festival. If you would like to learn more about the activities of Kiwanis, please visit the website or call the Chardon club at 440-537-7316.
