Family Extends Public Thanks to Middlefield Sheriff’s Dept

On July 29, 2014, Middlefield Police, Fire, EMS, and State Trooper personnel had a well coordinated rescue when my daughter’s Jeep slipped into a ditch and became stuck. When it first happened, a plain clothed sheriff’s department individual offered his assistance and then began directing traffic as he called the dispatcher to get help to us. Unfortunately, we did not have his name, but his wife informed us that he was a sheriff’s department employee. We wish to express our gratitude to him in a public way and let him know how safe he made us.
