GCPL Seeking Donations of Out-of-Print Books

Geauga County Public Library (GCPL) is seeking donations of several book series that are no longer in print. These series remain popular reading choices for a significant portion of GCPL patrons, including Amish readers. Obtaining these books

has become time consuming and cost-prohibitive. However, in an effort to provide the materials patrons enjoy, the library is asking people who have books in the following series that they are not using, to donate them any GCPL location.

  • Baby-Sitter’s Club
  • Baby-Sitter’s Club Little Sister
  • Sweet Valley Twins
  • Sweet Valley High
  • Sweet Valley Kids
  • Thoroughbred
  • The Saddle Club
  • Bobbsey Twins
  • Mary Kate and Ashley
  • Hardy Boys Case Files
  • Nancy Drew Case Files
  • Pony Pals

Additionally, titles by Jim Kielgaard and Joseph Altsheler are also in demand.
