Join DJ Knyce, WENZ 107.9 FM’s afternoon drive radio host, on April 1-3 as he attempts to break the world record for the longest Ferris wheel ride at the I-X Indoor Amusement Park in Brook Park. The marathon ride will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland.
Knyce will attempt to ride for 55 hours – and break the current record of 50 hours. His quest will begin at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 1, and conclude at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 3. Amusement Park guests will have a chance to be part of the world record challenge by riding with Knyce in his gondola.
Guests can make a donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland at the event or purchase a special T-shirt commemorating the world record attempt. All T-shirt proceeds will benefit BGCC.
“We are thrilled to be part of this world record attempt,” said BGCC President Ron Soeder. “We hope all the folks visiting the I-X Amusement Park will stop by and consider a donation to help our kids.”
Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland provides safe, fun places for kids after school and on Saturdays. The organization, which has 14 locations in Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland, served more than 8,000 youths last year.
