Congratulations to Cardinal Middle School 8th grader Hannah L. on being selected as the 2015-16 Debbie Seyer Memorial Award recipient!
Started in 2010, the award is given to an eighth grade student who exemplifies the positive character traits celebrated in the life of Debbie Seyer.
Students are nominated by a teacher, must be in good standing with discipline and attendance and meet the following criteria: demonstrate kindness to others and a willingness to help; perseveres through difficult circumstances and still maintains a positive attitude; serves as an affirmative role model epitomizing joy, enjoyment of life, good citizenship and sensitivity to the needs of others; participates in school and attends on a regular basis; strives for excellence; and exemplifies the “Carpe Diem” spirit by making the most of each day.
