Geauga County Public Library Branches Partner with United Way to help Geauga Families

All Geauga County Public Library branches are collecting personal-care items for Geauga families in need throughout the month of November. People who would like to donate items may do so at the collection bins at the following branches: Bainbridge, Chardon, Geauga West in Chesterland, Middlefield, Newbury and Thompson. See GeaugaLibrary.net for address and contact information.

Suggested items include:

  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Bathroom and facial tissue
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Razors
  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • Diapers
  • New combs and brushes
  • Deodorant

All items will be collected and distributed to families in Geauga County via the United Way. “We are pleased to be able to help families here in the community,” says GCPL Director Ed Worso.

“Since our buildings get a lot of use, we provide several visible collection sites throughout the county. We encourage anyone who can make a donation to do so when they visit their local library branch.”
