What kind of monsters live in the Geauga Park District? Don’t worry – only microscopic ones.
Come meet some of our tiniest of wild critters at The West Woods on Saturday, May 13th, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., wielding the power of field microscopes to unveil their fascinating figures.
Participants can pop in anytime; a brief presentation at 1:30 p.m. will be followed by dip-netting in a vernal pool. Among our most likely invertebrate subjects: waterfleas, cyclops and seed shrimp. Bring your sense of adventure and your curiosity for the unknown. You never know you might find when you dip a net into the water!
Registration is not required for these partially wheelchair/stroller accessible, Nature’s Not to Be Missed activities. With questions, please call 440-286-9516.
