Rescue Village to Hold a Woofstock Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, May 24th

Woofstock is one of Northeast Ohio’s largest, outdoor FUN-draising festivals for dogs and their people. Rescue Village promises that 2017’s event, which will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017, will be bigger and better than ever! Woofstock 2017 will be moving this year to the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field in Moreland Hills and will feature live music, canine games and activities, pet-friendly shopping, adoptable animals, and so much more!

In order to make this event possible, Rescue Village will need the assistance of many volunteers. On Wednesday, May 24th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Rescue Village is holding a Woofstock Volunteer Fair for adults 18 and older. Due to the many changes for the event, Rescue Village is looking for more volunteers to help with vendors, outreach, distribution, registration and fundraising. Volunteer time commitments range from 2 to 6 hours per week depending on the position and will be needed June through mid-September. For those that can’t attend the Woofstock Volunteer Fair, contact the Rescue Village Volunteer Coordinator directly at 440-338-4819 x 18 for more information.

Fundraising events like Woofstock help Rescue Village touch the lives of thousands of animals each year and participation is critical to supporting RV’s mission.
