In 2017, GGP’s Youth Workforce Education programs reached more than 1400 students. Middle school and high school students from nearly every Geauga County school participated in one or more training activities geared toward introducing students to career opportunities, soft skills training, resume writing, mock interviews, and real-world interviews for real-world jobs.

Funds raised through sponsorships, donations, silent auction, $5000 Cash Raffle, and other activities will benefit GGP’s Youth Workforce Development programs, provided to Geauga teenagers with the goal of “Preparing Tomorrow’s Workforce Today.”

GGP’s Youth Workforce training programs have reached more than 3,500 students since the program’s inception in 2012. Students in 7th through 12 grades are introduced to career options, learn soft skills required in the workplace, develop resumes, practice interviewing, and are given the opportunity to apply for the GGP High School Summer Internship Program.
