| By now, many of you have had your fill of information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impacts on the planet … and closer to home, your own lifestyles. One thing on which our leaders agree is that time spent outdoors is still a good method for staying active, as long as we practice social distancing. The board and staff of the Foundation for Geauga Parks are pleased to be working in support of Geauga County’s wonderful and diverse park resources. Our communities are so fortunate to have many county, state, township and city parks from which to choose.Be aware that park facilities of any type are temporarily closed, but we have a great variety of community parks and trails to give access to woodlands, rivers, ponds and open spaces for hiking, biking, fishing or just finding calm in the storm. As with all group activities right now, the Explorers Series is temporarily suspended. We will keep you informed as activities are rescheduled.
