Seven students from Chagrin Falls High School have been selected to participate in the 49th annual Ohio Band Directors Conference Honor Band (OBDC) at the University of Akron. All activities will be conducted virtually, including sectionals with Akron University faculty and submission of performance video/audio.

This year’s OBDC guest composer is Dr. Brant Karrick, Director of Bands at Northern Kentucky University. He is a noted composer for all levels of ensembles and genres. The OBDC Virtual Honor Band will prepare and record (video and audio) Dr. Karrick’s J.S. Jig for performance during the virtual conference on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
