GEAUGA GEMS TREKKING SERIES  – Hike the seasons – or hike 60 miles – to earn your 2024 reward 

Start your 2024 strong by enrolling in Geauga Park District’s Geauga Gems Trekking Series and committing to all four seasons of outdoor exploration!

To complete this year’s series, explore a minimum of four trails each season from a seasonal list created by Park District naturalists. Attending a naturalist-led hike? Count it as one of your trails. Don’t see your favorite trail? Add it in the space provided!

Hike a total of 16 trails by the end of the 2024 to earn a commemorative amethyst sticker for your trekking pole (and your trekking pole if you’re a first-time finisher).

Or, if you’re interested in hiking more, hike 60 self-guided miles to earn your rewards.

To get started, simply register for the series at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org under Programs & Events and you’ll receive a link to a printable card to keep track of your progress throughout the year, since this is what you’ll turn in for credit.
