Naturalist Renell Roebuck is stepping up her programming for basket-weavers with two two-day workshops for those who consider themselves advanced in the art.
Spots are still available, but quite limited, for the following basket-weaving sessions. Please note that registration is required, all are wheelchair accessible, and due to expenses associated with program preparation, registration fees may not be refunded to a participant who cancels within five days of the program.
Advanced Odds & Ends Baskets 2-Day Workshop
Monday, October 21 -AND- Tuesday, October 22, both 6-9 PM
The West Woods, Affelder House
Fee: $25 Geauga County residents, $30 out-of-county residents
Design your own pattern to create a small basket.
Weave a Laundry Basket 2-Day Workshop
Saturday, November 16 -AND- Sunday, November 17, both Noon-5 PM
Holbrook Hollows, Lodge
Fee: $65 Geauga County residents, $75 out-of-county residents
Follow a basket pattern for design detail to weave a double-walled tote basket.
