Airman Brittany Misterka skyped with students at Cardinal Intermediate School from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida to talk to them about her job in the Air Force and show them pictures. The call was part of a special Veteran’s Day assembly at the school.
Airman Misterka also read a story and then recited the Pledge of Allegiance with everyone in attendance!
“It was beautiful and in unison, students were so excited,” says Principal Kelly Bearer. During the call, Airman Misterka got to see her mom, a Cardinal employee, and her grandparents (her grandfather is a Veteran) who were also in attendance.
