Historic boat rides return to Headwaters Park
All aboard the 34-foot Voyageur canoe! It’s time to re-live the adventures of French Voyageur fur traders who plied the uncharted waters of the Great Lakes in the 1700’s.
What: Voyageur Canoe
When: Saturday, September 13 – 11 a.m. to noon; 12:30-1:30 p.m.; 2-3 p.m.
Where: Headwaters Park, Boat Launch, 13365 Old State Road (Rt. 608), Huntsburg Twp.
This great opportunity to experience history first-hand will have you and the family paddling across the East Branch Reservoir while a hardy crew regales you with song. And like history, this trip is also rain or shine – except in the event of thunderstorms, that is.
