An Evening of Fun Awaits You!

Help 6th graders in Bristol get to Washington D.C.

Each year the 6th grade students from Bristol Local Schools has the opportunity to earn their class trip to Washington D.C. for free. The individual cost per student is $400 each. There are different fundraisers held throughout the school year which will help in defraying each student’s expenses, but the Chance Auction is their main money maker for each of these students.

For entry, there is no admission price! Everyone will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 50/50 raffle along with tickets for the Chance Auction for which you do not need to be present to win!

During their three day trip to Washington D.C. in May of 2014, students, chaperones, and teachers will tour Arlington Cemetery, The National Cathedral, Jefferson Memorial, WWII, Korean and Vietnam Memorials, The Smithsonian, and Pentagon-Iwo-Jima Memorial. Upon returning home, a stop will be made in Somerset, PA to visit the Flight 93 Memorial.

For some students, this may be their only opportunity to visit Washington D.C. For all of them it is an opportunity of a lifetime, and you can make it happen for them! If you would like to know more about this trip or the fundraiser, please call Bristol Elementary School Principal Alleen Santee at (330)-889-2700. To make a donation, please contact Kristina Stephens at (216)-543-1891 or Carrie Fenstermaker at (330)-889-9515. Leave a message if necessary!
