“When you shop at the ReStore, you are not only recycling, but you are helping out local families.”

  What is a ReStore?

A ReStore is an outlet that collects new and slightly used building materials along with furniture, appliances, and other household items. Furniture must be in resellable condition with no tears, stains or rips.  In turn, these items are sold to the public at a drastically reduced price, thereby creating a revenue stream used to build more homes for qualified Geauga County residents in need of affordable housing. The ReStore in Geauga County also serves as a means in which to divert reusable materials from overflowing community landfills and to increase the affiliate’s visibility within the community they serve. ~ReStore website

If you have a stereotypical view floating around in your head of a thrift store or second hand store piled high with old clothes, ancient irons, broken lamps, and mildew-scented linens that you must dig through to find anything worthwhile, it’s time to pop that idea to shreds! You will find The ReStore in Geauga County to be a highly organized, neat and clean operation. It’s run by folks who are knowledgeable about their inventory, which is constantly changing, but is always guaranteed to be fully functional, only slightly used, and on shelves rather than in piles! There are even isles to walk up and down – just like the retail stores you visit, but with one huge difference. The prices! ReStore makes things affordable, which allows people of all income levels to benefit from these quality products. Because they restrict what they receive for donations, everything is in tip top condition.

Geauga Computer Recycling will be on site during the sale
to recycle your computers and electronics – NO TV’s!

If you have never been to the ReStore, you are missing out.
Stop in and explore! You may be surprised at what you will find!
