Are You Looking for a Fun Summer Activity For Your Kids?

Adventure Camp, Space Camp to run weekly early June through early August

Chances are good your best childhood memories include some outdoor adventures – bike rides, fishing or exploring through woods and streams. Now your kids can also make some of those memories and more through Geauga Park District’s brand new daytime camps: Adventure Camp and Space Camp!

Day camp with the Geauga Park District

Made possible through the Chip Henry Institute for Outdoor Adventure, a special initiative established through Geauga Park District Foundation in memory of Judge Charles “Chip” Henry, these new camps are set up as week-long day camps that will run throughout the summer for age groups 10-12 years and 13-15 years old.

Adventure Camp will consist of a week of outdoor adventure activities with days in the parks dedicated to fishing clinics, canoeing, bicycle outings, and geocaching, to name a few. Space Camp will take place at Observatory Park and is dedicated to learning about telescopes, astronomy, rockets, and other astro-fun activities and a field trip.

Camps will run every week from early June through early August, excluding the week of July 4. Registration begins Monday, March 18. A fee of $150 includes all activities plus special field trips. For more information or to register, contact Denise Wolfe at 440-279-0894.

Geauga Park District is online, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
