Auburn Community Church 11076 E. Washington St., will host a rummage sale August 4th from 5p.m.-9 p.m., August 5th 9 a.m.-5 p.m., August 6th 9 a.m.-12 noon. Saturday is $2.00 per standard grocery bag sale. Larger items 80% off. Vintage toys and wood childrens’ tables and chairs, 2 antique parlor tables, jewelry, clothes, household, linens, barstools, etc. Something for everyone!
Auburn Community Church will also host a community picnic August 13th at Adam Hall in Auburn Township. It will be held from 4 :00 -6:30 p .m.. Hamburgers, a variety of side dishes and beverages will be the menu. A raffle will be held to benefit the school children of Geauga county. Cost is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children three and under. All members and friends of the church are invited to attend.
Auburn Community Church invites the community to help celebrate its 175th anniversary. The congregation “first gathered” in 1841 and has been active in the community since that time. . The event will take place at the church on August 14th at 10:00 a.m. Members of the community will have opportunity to reflect on the history of the church. A coffee hour and time of fellowship will follow.
