Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield will serve as the official ambassador for the June 26 Race for Kids, a 5k run and 1-mile walk benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio.
This year’s race will once again be an in-person event at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo with safety protocols in place. There is also a virtual race option for those who cannot attend that day. Entry fees start at $20 and include all-day zoo admission and a special race T-shirt. The number of in-person spots will be limited.

Those who register before May 31 will be entered into a drawing for a signed Baker Mayfield jersey.

BGCNEO provides safe, fun places for children ages 6-18 to go after school and for educational help, normally operating 39 facilities in the region. During the pandemic, BGCNEO opened 16 ClubSmart Learning Centers, where kids in virtual education environments could get in-person and tech help with schoolwork.
