A select group of Cardinal middle school 8th graders were drafted to participate in an epic basketball showdown with their teachers on the last day of school on May 29, 2015.
Though it took a little while for the students to get some points on the board, Coach Sharon Casavecchia helped them make adjustments, and eventually the team closed the gap with the teachers.
Student’s efforts fell just short though, posting a final score of “30-something to 40-something.”
