Senior Christin Dornback awarded the Longo Homecoming Scholarship

scholarship

Senior Christin Dornback was awarded the Longo Homecoming Scholarship during the Homecoming assembly on Friday October 24. Principal Steve Reedy presented the check to Christin at the end of the assembly. Mrs. Longo, a 1968 graduate of Berkshire High School initiated the scholarship two years ago in order to help a senior student with their post secondary education. Students who applied had to write an essay on a topic selected by Mrs. Longo. All of the applications are reviewed by Mrs. Longo and the winner is selected by her as well.

Congratulations to Christin and a special thanks to Mrs. Longo!
