At the regular December meeting of the Berkshire Board of Education, Josh Echt and John Karlovec were honored by the board for being named to the 2013 Ohio School Boards Association Media Honor Roll. John and Josh joined more than 100 Ohio newspaper, radio and television stations that were recognized. Criteria for selection include reporting school news in a fair, accurate, and balanced nature, give a high profile to positive news about schools, and maintain a policy of “no surprises” by sharing information with school officials.
