Blackbrook Audubon Society will host “Adventures in Ecuador” by Tammy Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17th at Lake Metroparks’ Penitentiary Glen. Tammy will recount her visit to this South American country in the fall of 2017, her second international birding trip. Facing the Pacific Ocean, Ecuador is home to over 1600 bird species. From the high altitudes of the Andes to the lower Amazonia, the excursion yielded countless hummingbirds, tanagers and antpittas, plus a number of surprises.

The program is open to all. Penitentiary Glen is at 8668 Kirtland-Chardon Road in Kirtland. For more information, visit Blackbrook Audubon Society. Follow Blackbrook Audubon Society on Facebook. Blackbrook Audubon is the local chapter of National Audubon Society covering Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake counties.
