Blackbrook Audubon will host a hike at the western edge of its territory Sunday, February 17th at North Chagrin Reservation. Bring binoculars and meet in the parking lot of North Chagrin’s Nature Center, 401 Buttermilk Falls Parkway, Willoughby Hills at 9:00 a.m. Participants will move their cars to the Forest Picnic Area parking lot just around the curve from the Nature Center.
The group will be on the lookout for birds along the 1.5 mile walk to the bird feeding site. Everyone is welcome to bring bird seed to use for enticing a chickadee or other wild songbird to land on their hand. After the visit to North Chagrin, weather permitting, the adventure will move to local hotspots based on recent sightings and continue at a nearby restaurant for lunch.
