Blackbrook Audubon invites birders of all levels to their monthly walk at Chagrin River Park Sunday, January 27th at 8:00 a.m. As the local chapter of National Audubon Society, Blackbrook is monitoring avian life in this Lake Metropark property to benefit the Chagrin River Corridor IBA, or Important Bird Area. Everyone living within the Chagrin River watershed also lives in the IBA and has a role to play in supporting birds in their migration and breeding cycles.

Meet at 3100 Reeves Road off Lost Nation Road in Willoughby on the fourth Sunday of each month at 8:00 a.m. The walk is just over 1 mile on a level, paved path. The list of birds found is posted on eBird. For more information, visit Blackbrook Audubon Society or email blackbrookaud@aol.com. Follow Blackbrook Audubon Society on Facebook.

Programs cancelled due to weather will be announced on the iAlert system on WKYC-TV 3, Newsradio WTAM 1100.
