Combine an understanding of the natural histories for various bird species with knowledge on habitat types and bird seekers will have better results spotting the birds. Larry Richardson, an avid birder with nearly 50 years experience, will help Blackbrook Audubon’s audience with “Birding by Habitat” at their meeting 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16th at Penitentiary Glen. Larry was once the Executive Director of the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center in Bay Village. He shared key facts about bird migration with Blackbrook in September 2015.

Penitentiary Glen is at 8668 Kirtland-Chardon Road, Kirtland. For more information, visit blackbrookaudubon.org. Follow Blackbrook Audubon Society on Facebook. Blackbrook Audubon is the local chapter of National Audubon covering Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake counties.
