Some say there’s nothing more relaxing than traversing forested trails from a seat in the saddle atop your favorite horse. If you can relate, register to join Geauga Park District for a naturalist-led Horseback Trail Ride this spring!

Rides will be hosted Sunday, May 7th, starting from The West Woods’ Horse Trail Parking Lot for 6 to 8 miles, and Sunday, June 11th, starting from Big Creek Park’s Woodin Road Horse Trailer Parking Lot for 5.8 miles. Each day has two options to be considered: a walk, trot and canter ride from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., then a walk-only ride from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants may register for one or both rides with a lunch break between.

For more details or to register, please visit Geauga Park District or call 440-286-9516.
