The Friends of Burton Public Library have a great idea for you this weekend!
Are you going to one of the pancake breakfasts at either the Burton Fire House or Berkshire High School? Since you’ll be out and about, why not stop in at the Burton library afterward and peruse the large selection of books that will be on sale?
Every Sunday in March, beginning this weekend, March 2, the Book Cellar will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You’ll find not only books on every topic you can imagine, but also puzzles, sheet music, magazines (great for crafters!) and more. And the prices will be just right!
Who are the Friends of the Library?
The Friends of the Library is a group of volunteers who raise funds through their monthly book sales, membership dues and annual silent auction of rare books. Proceeds go toward our Burton Public Library’s excellent programming and contribute to its occasional need for new tools.
