C.A.K.E. at St. Helen School

The Kindergarten through fourth grade at St. Helen put on a Christmas musical called C.A.K.E., featuring the four-grade class.   CAKE stands for “Christmas Acts of Kindness Experiment”. The musical focused on celebrating the season by doing acts of kindness.

The characters in the play learned, that when we extend God’s love to those around us, we act as the proof of His love for us!  St. Helen students have been working hard to be examples of God’s love with acts of kindness this year.

So far this year, they have raised $1045.12 in change collected for global charities, collected 25 boxes filled of non-perishable food items donated to Burton Food Pantry, collected over 200 pairs collected of gloves/socks/hats for Little Annie’s Hope Train, and 53 students recognized by Staff for the monthly virtue challenges.

We hope to change the world by our love and kindness!  Merry Christmas!
