Congratulations to Jordyn G., freshman at Cardinal High School, for placing in the top ten for the Young Scientist Award.
Jordyn wrote an essay on how Chemistry colors our world. This year had the widest selection of counties and students ever to enter this competition, hosted by The Northeastern Ohio Section of the American Chemical Society.
Out of the top 10 students, there were 8 seniors, 1 junior and 1 freshman. That brilliant freshman is Jordyn. She was the only winner in Geauga County. Jordyn said, “I was very proud of myself. I had fun doing more research on the topic.” Again, congratulations, Jordyn – Huskie Pride!
