Congratulations to the May CHS Student and PBIS Student of the Month 11th grader Emily N., and 12th grader Trey H.!
Emily’s nominating teacher calls her very “mindful,” saying she always emails to get assignments when she misses class and seeks out extra help if she needs it. She is also kind to others and is known to go out of her way to help others when she can.
Trey’s nominating teacher says he goes above and beyond when it comes to demonstrating PRIDE. He is willing to sit with, talk to, and assist students that are new to the District or may feel left out. Teachers are always amazed by how he will strike up a friendly conversation with other students who may be sitting alone. Trey often goes out of his way to be involved, including donating blood or showing his character during musical and plays.
