It was a packed house for the Cardinal Band Night on July 27th. The marching band invited the community to attend a free performance at Moss Field after spending three days rehearsing their new routines at band camp. Band camp was held at CHS this year and students, advisors, booster members, parents, and volunteers all worked extremely hard to put on a successful camp. “This year was a little different for us, but this was probably one of the best camps we’ve had in years,” says Band Director Tim Florjancic.
“Everything ran very smoothly, the kids worked hard and I can’t thank the boosters, parents, and volunteers enough for all of the food and fun they provided during the week. We are also extremely grateful to the community that turned out in full force on band night to support these kids – THANK
YOU!” The band also paid tribute to the Joe Peters family, holding up “thank you” signs on the field for their contribution in the elimination of the pay-to- participate fees for all fall activities.
