On Friday, November 22nd, the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team elected to skip practice to spend some time with residents at Briar Hill Health Care instead! Supervised by their coaches, Mr. Shaun Spence and Mr. Gregg Sadler, the boys enjoyed talking to the residents there, and playing board and card games with them. We’re told everyone had a great time and ended their time together with big smiles on their faces. Thank you to Briar Hill for allowing our scholars to come visit!
High School Scholars Participate in CVC Honors Choir Concert
On Monday, November 25th, Cardinal High School hosted the CVC Honors Choir concert. The event is held at a different school every year, and our scholars have participated for the last several years. We were honored to have Dr. Grant Cook, III from the University of Mount Union participate as this year’s guest clinician. He spent a couple of days working with scholars selected from the 10 CVC schools participating in the event to help them put on an excellent performance. Cardinal scholars participating in this year’s event included Michael M., Trey M., Zane F., Jonathon Z., Gracie M., Maddie S., Rachael L., and Mya K.
