Celebrate Celtic Musical Heritage with the GANG

The Geauga Art Network Group (GANG) will be celebrating all things Celtic at their 20th annual Celtic Music Singalong in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. This program, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Heinen’s Café, 402 Center Street in Chardon, on Tuesday March 17th from 6:30 to 8 pm. Audience participation is welcome. The GANG invites music lovers of all ages to join in the jam session with Geauga minstrel and GANG Facilitator, Nicky Bucur. Nicky will be joined by surprise guests who will be performing a lively selection of Irish and other Celtic tunes.

The community is invited to bring along any nostalgic items reflecting their Celtic heritage; for example, sheet music, poems, keepsakes, and personal reminiscences. Nicky has been bringing his eclectic mix of folk, rock, and traditional music to the Geauga community for many years. Both professional and amateur musicians are invited to bring along their own instruments and join in the fun. The Geauga Arts Network Group is an ad hoc group of artists, art lovers, and art supporters whose mission is to promote communication, collaboration, and cooperation across all artistic disciplines, for artists living and/or working in Geauga County and surrounding communities.
