Celebrate 50 years of Ohio’s Scenic Rivers Program at Bass Lake Preserve, a designated scenic river site and natural lake on the Chagrin! Join us Sunday, September 16th, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Bass Lake Preserve. Local resource professionals will be leading a variety of family-friendly aquatic adventures including stream exploration, canoeing, strolls through Spring Brook Sanctuary, and close encounters with Chagrin River critters including Ohio’s treasured brook trout! This unique river celebration is a collaboration with Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), ODNR Division of Parks & Watercraft, Scenic Rivers Program, and other conservation partners.
