Boy Scout Troop 150 of Chagrin Falls is hosting its Annual Pasta Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, March 5, from 5-7 p.m. at the Family Life Center, 16349 Chillicothe Road in Chagrin Falls.

Tickets are $8 per person (Children 5 and under are free with an adult ticket). The meal includes all-you-can-eat pasta, meatballs, rolls & butter, drinks, salad bar and a homemade dessert buffet. Tickets are available at the door, or in advance by calling Paula Suzelis of Troop 150 at 216-347-0712.

The dinner is a fun, affordable evening that helps the scouts raise funds for their activities. The meal is served by the Boy Scouts of Troop 150.

Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA’s objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.

Troop 150 is a boy led troop who choose to continue to support their communities through many projects including Eagle Projects that beautify parks or areas that impact fellow community members, raking lawns for the seniors, and honoring Veterans by making sure their grave sites are adorned in memory of them.

As a Community Service Project, the Troop 150 Scouts will be collecting non-perishable items and canned goods for the benefit of the Chagrin Falls Meals on Wheels, a non-profit, volunteer staffed, home-delivered meal service. Meals on Wheels provide nutritionally balanced meals to the elderly and home-bound persons in the local area. There will be boxes at the door of the event to drop off donated items for Meals on Wheels.

During the dinner, the High Adventure Crew will be sponsoring a Fundraising Raffle of local merchandise and prizes to help raise monies for their summer high-adventure trip to the Northern Tier Scout High Adventure Camp in Ely, Minnesota. All proceeds from this auction/raffle directly benefit our older scouts and leaders by helping fund a High Adventure Camping/Canoeing trip they are making this summer. This high-adventure trip teaches the boys, persistence; problem solving; endurance; an appreciation of nature and our environment; and achievement and success through hard work.
