Chardon Area Kiwanis Host Division Meeting

The Chardon Kiwanis had the honor of hosting the meeting for the Ohio Division 22 Kiwanis at the Chardon Heinen’s. In attendance at the meeting were 37 members and guests, who had a fun-filled evening of good food, friends and some business.

To start off the meeting, Mary Beth & Paul Gray were sworn in as new members of the club by Lt. Governor Ted Clutter. The two new members swore to uphold the six objectives of Kiwanis that speak to improving the world one child at a time. After the swearing in, the current Lt. Governor, Ted Clutter, presented a plaque to the prior year’s Lt Governor, Gary Stump, for outstanding division leadership. The evening wrapped up with the presentation of monthly reports which explained projects and fundraising efforts by the Kiwanis clubs who make up division from Geauga, Lake, and Ashtabula counties.

“The monthly meetings of the Division are a great way to learn about the wonderful projects and fundraising efforts of the local Kiwanis groups,” said President Mary Bramstedt of the Kiwanis Club of Chardon. “By attending the monthly meeting you learn a lot and get to enjoy a wonderful time with friends.”

Everyone is encouraged to attend all meetings and activities held by area Kiwanis to lean about our mission to improve our world one child at a time. To find out more about the local club and Kiwanis as a group, please visit www.kiwanisclubofchardon.org or call 440.537.7316.
