Chardon Kiwanis Club Starts a New Year

At its annual induction meeting of the Chardon Area Kiwanis, a new year started with the election of new officers for the 2015-2016 term.

Serving as President of the club is Jeff Campbell, Sr.; serving as President-Elect is Jeff Campbell Jr.; serving as Secretary is Mary-Beth Grae; serving as Treasurer is David Browne. At the meeting, Frank Elliott, Norma Moses, Butch Penrod, Bob Yates and Jim Madea, where also chosen as trustees.

The Club is looking forward to March when it will be selling maple products in the newly completed cabin on the Chardon Square. In addition, the annual Trivia Night, which had to be rescheduled, will take place sometime in the spring.  All monies raised through the club’s various fundraisers helps to support the scholarships and programs offered by the club in the Chardon area.

“One of my favorite times of the year in the Chardon Kiwanis is the arrival of maple season,” said President of the Chardon Area Kiwanis, Jeff Campbell, Sr. “Our maple sales are a wonderful way to celebrate our maple heritage while help to support our kids.”
