Chardon Kiwanis Club Starts a New Year

At its first spouses meeting of the year the recently elected leadership team for the 2017-2018 term started off the New Year. Serving as President of the club Paul Grae; serving as President-Elect is Mary Bramstedt; serving as Secretary is Mary-Beth; serving as Treasurer is David Browne. In addition, the trustees starting the year include Jeff Campbell Jr., Jeff Campbell Sr., Norma Moses, Rich Titus, Bob Yates.

The club is looking forward to the impending Maple season, which will officially kick off with Taping Sunday on March 11th at 1:00 p.m. on the Square. The Kiwanis will once again be selling Maple products inside the Heritage House from March 11th through the Maple Festival the last full weekend of April. All monies raised will support the scholarships and programs that are offered by Kiwanis in the Chardon area.

“I can’t wait for Maple syrup sales in start in March on the Chardon Square in our Heritage House,” said President Paul Grae. “Maple syrup season is one of my favorite times of the year because there are lots Maple sugar, lots of pancakes, and a wonderful Maple Festival April 26th – 29th.”
