The Kiwanis Club of Chardon would like to thank everyone who donated to the food drive during the Concert in the Park on July 29th, which featured the rock of the 730 Club.
With the help of caring community members, the Chardon Kiwanis was able to deliver a number of bags with non-perishable food items, toiletries, and over $100 in donations to the Pilgrim Christian Church Food Pantry, which serves the greater community.
“Even in one of the greatest counties in Ohio there is a continuing need to help those that have fallen on hard times,” said club member and chairman of the Chardon Kiwanis food drive Baron Miller. “It gives you a great feeling inside to see the generosity of our community.
The club encourages you to come out to the last two Concerts in the Park held on the Chardon Square the on 8/19 and 8/26 at 7 PM For more information on the Chardon Kiwanis Club, please visit www.kiwanisclubofchardon.org.
