The Chardon Square Association is pleased to announce the return of the Chardon Square Association Farmers Market for a fourth year. The Chardon Square Association Farmers Market is held on the Historic Chardon Square to provide residents the opportunity to buy locally produced foods and cottage industry goods.
The Farmers Market will be returning each Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM from June through September. As was the case last year, shoppers can expect to find locally raised produce and plants, bakery, grass fed beef, ice cream, soaps, and other locally produced cottage goods. The popular tasting provided by the Paganini School of Cooking and the Chardon Square Association will also be returning.
“Last year’s Farmers Market offered a variety of locally raised and produced goods and this year’s will offer even more for the local shopper to enjoy,” said Deb Osborne, Co-Chair of the Chardon Square Association Farmers Market. “This year, an additional concert has been scheduled and plans are underway for the first ever dog show to accompany the Farmers Market.”
Preparations for the market will start with the first informational meeting for interested vendors on February 29, at 6:30 PM in the Log Cabin on the Historic Chardon Square. Vendors from last year as well as new vendors that would like to participate this year are encouraged to attend to learn more. If you are interested in participating as a vendor and cannot make the informational meeting, please call 440-279-3130 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
